Description: GEORGE III MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK, BY THOMAS HUTCHINSON, LEEDS
18TH CENTURY
the hood with a pagoda top and brass corner finials above an arched brass dial with painted moon phase dial and silvered chapter with Roman numbers, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and pierced brass spandrels flanked by Corinthian columns, above long shaped trunk door and plinth base, raised on splay feet, the eight day movement striking a bell
48cm wide, 246cm high, 23cm deep

Condition Report: - weights x 2; pendulum (broken); assorted winders
- movement and case associated
- small sections of moulding lacking from pagoda top lenticle
- rear feet lacking
- dial is in good order and painted decoration to moon phase is good, probably retouched
- small separation to the front panels on the base
