Description: George III Style Painted Satinwood Bookcase Cabinet
In two parts, the upper section with ogee arched glazed doors opening to shelves, the projecting bowfronted lower section fitted with two frieze drawers flanked by cupboard doors, raised on tapering square legs ending in spade feet, decorated allover with Neoclassical flowers, musical trophies and scrolling foliage. Height 6 feet 11 1/2 inches (2.07 m), width 43 1/2 inches (1.10 m), depth 20 1/2 inches (52 cm).

Condition Report: Overall very good condition, in two parts, with minor losses and replacements to veneers, some line inlaid lifting, old marks and scratches, scuffs to legs and feet, distance between shelves, which are sturdy, is 9 1/4 inches, depth of shelves, 8 inches, except in the middle section where it is 7 3/8 inches because of central panel running down the backboard of the upper section
