First quarter of the 19th century
The 6 inch silvered dial signed John Bullock / Melksham., with two-train movement within an arched case with 'Buhl'-work to the facade, surmounted by a square dome and an acorn finial, the sides with handles and grillework, gilt-metal sound panels, on ball feet. Height 16 3/4 inches (42.6 cm), width over handles 9 3/4 inches (24.7 cm), depth 6 3/4 inches (17.2 cm).
