EARLY 19TH CENTURY
the low straight back and high scrolling arms over a loose cushion seat, the frame carved with stylised foliate motifs and raised on tapered reeded and turned legs
218cm long, 98cm high, 62cm deep
- frame is essentially sound and joints are tight; there is some 'give' to the back but this is more a condition of the style rather than construction
- rosewood frame is colour is ok, but does have some faded spots and the rear legs look dry
- upholstery is tired and worn; the seat cushion is very flat
- in general used, unrestored, country house condition
