Description: GEORGE IV SILVER TEAPOT, Charles and John Fry II, London, 1824. Melon-form; featuring a continuous band of lobed repoussé panels depicting various motifs, including flowering urn, cornucopia, grape bunches and others; the spout and flying scroll handle with trailing flowers; applied scrolling rim; hinged lid; the whole on serpentine foot - 19 oz.; 5 1/4 in. high.

Condition Report: Finial replaced. The spout rim slightly bent. The handle is detached at the bottom joint and loose at the top; the top ivory insulator has broken (pieces held together with tape). Without splits, dents or repairs.
