With general dust, soft scratches and abrasions present from use in many areas throughout. Paint lightly rubbed or flaking on some metal elements from regular use of the mecanical elements visible in multiple areas. The plexiglass back with occasional soft scratches and faint patina to surface. Metal elements with patina to brass, exhibiting small areas of verdigris and slightly mottled appearance to surface and soft surface wear. Bells with various light discolorations to patina.
Please note that the piece also comes with a large plexiglass protective case, which has been subject to repairs. Freeman's suggests that the successful bidder on this piece have the Rhodes Studio make an installation visit, and create a new case for the sculpture, which is on exhibition at Freeman's without it.
