Description: GERMAN ERNST BOHNE SOHNE PORCELAIN SITTING ELEPHANT FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, gray ground with facial features, front feet extended out with curved trunk, sitting on a natural brown and green tone circular base, underside impressed "21 / EBS / 4441", opaque white ball-form shade with green staining and various circus themed subjects including an elephant, tiger, and a clown, period collar. Fitted with a Aufstec Brenner burner.

Condition Report: Lamp and shade undamaged, some scattered minute wear to decorations, collar with a dent. Burner with some light corrosion.

Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA.

Dimensions: 15" H top of shade, 8" H to top of collar, 4 1/8" D base. Shade 3 3/4" H, 2" D fitter.

Medium: Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century.
