Description: Late 19th / early 20th century, marked ''Germany'', for .800 fineness and with National German Silver Mark, further marked with right-facing lion and ''B'' for unknown maker, the oval body formed by floral garlands suspended between four winged putti, over a spreading pierced, chased and repousse-decorated rocaille base, inset with a removable scalloped edge etched glass liner, 6'' H x 17.5'' W x 10.75'' D, silver weight 36.390oz troy approximately (centerpiece only)
Condition Report: Overall good condition. General light marks, rubbing, and tarnishing commensurate with age. The glass liner with scratches to underside, scattered minor scratches to interior and scattered minor fleabite nicks to scalloped edge of liner; the largest .125'' wide. Weight does not include liner, as stated.
