Description: 7th-8th century AD. A silver buckle comprising: a flat-section loop with dragon-head terminals; a curved tongue with violin-shaped plaque, hatched surface; a discoid plaque with raised central cell, punched annulets to the outer edge, 'alpha'-shaped cells with red and yellow enamel fill; discoid plaque to the underside with three long rivets.
