etching, circa 1753, without watermark, a very good impression of the published state, trimmed to the borderline on three sides, a fillet of blank paper outside the borderline below, in excellent condition; with four other plates by the same hand and from the same series: The Frontispiece: The Arms of Carl Philipp von Greiffenclau carried aloft by an Angel (R. 68); Joseph tells Mary of their forthcoming Departure (R. 70); The Holy Family leaving by a City Gate (R. 73) and The Holy Family passing a Statue, the Head of which falls to the Ground (R. 88); all good impressions of the published state; R. 68 with wide margins, with some brown stains in the lower subject, other minor stains, surface dirt and minor defects in the margins; the others with 5-10 mm. margins, generally in good condition
