This is one lot from a collection of correspondence, keepsakes and souvenirs collected by Mary Davey who was Gracie's lifelong friend, travelling companion and confidante. Ding Davey was Mary's husband. As such, this collection offers possibly the most revealing insight into the private thoughts,hopes and desires of Gracie Fields ever to be released into the public domain.
