Description: 3rd-2nd century BC. A gold penannular rod with wire coiled to one end of the shank and passed in loops to the eye; four silver barrel-shaped beads, two gold granulated collars, an irregular glass flake. Cf. Marshall, F.H. Catalogue of the Jewellery, Greek, Etruscan and Roman, in the Department of Antiquities, British Museum, London, 1911, item 2432 for type. 4.51 grams, 24mm (1"). Private collection, London, UK; formerly with Persepolis Gallery, Mayfair, London, UK; in the 1980s.
