More About this Item

Description: This lot has three snuff bottles. Two of them are glass snuff bottles with inside paintings: one is painted with pair of tigers with Chinese calligraphy captions and a mark; the other is inside-painted with pair of cranes and Chinese calligraphy captions. Tigers are symbols of authority and high power, while cranes are symbols for longevity. Both are popular themes in traditional Chinese culture. The small snuff bottle in the middle is made of blue and white porcelain, painted with little kids flying kites.
