Hampshire - Isle of Wight - Ventnor archive of documents early 20th c concerning the sale of the Steephill Castle Estate, Ventnor, including legal documents, letters, a ms estate plan etc." Steephill Castle which was built in the early 19th c was demolished in the 1960s and the estate is now a suburb of Ventnor. The present archive therefore provides considerable information on the Castle and its grounds which extended to some 65 acres.
