Bronze 7.9" x 8.5" x 4.7" - 20.1 x 21.6 x 11.9 cm. Provenance: Dominion Gallery, Montreal, stock number D5002, acquired by Max Stern in 1970; Sold 01/20/1975 to a Private Collector, Ohio; Rachel Davis Fine Art, Cleveland, Ohio; From whom purchased by the present Private Collection, Frankfurt, Germany Note: Dr. Annabelle Kienle of the National Gallery of Canada confirms the records for this sculpture are held in the gallery collection. Mrs. Walburga Krupp of the Taueber-Arp Foundation confirms that Arp's widow provided an authenticity-certificate for this bronze, a copy of which is held in the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa.
