Description: HORNIUS, G. Ulyssea sive studiosus peregrinans omnia lustrans littora. Leyden, C. Driehuysen & A. Doude, 1671. (8), 590 pp. W. engr. ti. 12°. Cont. vellum w. overl. sides. (Slightly browned). First edition. Posthumous work by the German geographer and historian Georg Horn, (1620-1670). Contains various curious documents. Divided into three parts: The first part with political and historical descriptions of various nations and people, the second with geographical descriptions, modern and classical, with longitude and latitude tabels (incl. Quito & Cuzco in Peru, Peking etc.), modern and ancient place-names etc. and the third part contains: "Itineraria Benjaminis et Jospehi, et aliorum" (p. 337-590).
