HUDECEK Frantisek (7. 4. 1909 Nemcice near Holesov - 13. 5. 1990 Prague) Spaceships Pencil and watercolour on paper, 13,5 x 24 cm, mounted and framed, glazed, dated 1959, signed lower right. Czech painter and graphic artist, he studied under professor F. Kysela at the Academy of Decorative Arts in Prague and then under Willy Nowak at the Academy of Arts in Prague. From 1936 he exhibited at the Zlin Salons, in 1941 he became a member of Umelecka Beseda and in 1942 he became a founding member of the group Skupina 42. In 1945 he became a member of SCUG Hollar.
