Description: Chinese Imperial doucai plate with a Daoguang mark, and of the period (1821-1850). This doucai plate has blue underglaze and is painted with green, yellow, brown, and red, depicting various longevity symbols. This includes bats, peaches, and the symbol 'Shou'. The sides of the plate curve and taper from its rim to its straight foot. There is a double blue line encircling the scene on the interior of the plate, on both the interior and exterior of the rim, and on the foot. There is a single blue line at the top of the foot. On the bottom of the plate, there is a 6-character Daoguang mark. Dimensions are 4 3/4 inches in diameter by 7/8 inch high. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition.
