Description: Large Imperial Roman gold ring with tooled shank, the oval bezel set with a domed back, white and brownbanded agate carve in intaglio with a minute image of nude Venus, Goddess of Love, steadying herself against a pier while adjusting her sandal. Intact, 3d Century, Spain.
Ring size is approximate, since ancient rings are not perfectly round.
