Description: Consisting of a crescent-shaped main body with two long panels to the front. The entire surface of the cloak is adorned with feathers which are individually attached to the woven fibre base. The exterior of the main body offers thick borders of black feathers with four interconnecting crescents of colourful feathers and triangles of patterned feathers filling this section. The front panels offer parallel lines of black and triangles of coloured feathers. The interior of the cape is uniformly covered in white down feather pom poms. Early to mid 19th century. From neckline to base of semicircular base. 300mm
