Description: Important "humpback" model goldeneye hen, Ward Brothers, Crisfield, Maryland, circa 1918. A sculpturesque carving with the head turned approximately 85 degrees, and exhibiting the Ward's classic exaggerated "humpback" form and wide "paddle tail".

Condition Report: Strong original scratch paint shows moderate wear; a few shot marks on one side of the head; thin chip missing from one side of tail; overall excellent structurally.
