Description: An aviator's important, extremely rare wristwatch "Special Wristwatch for Aviators", so called Mark IX - sold on 08/18/1937 to Novotny, Prague - with IWC extract from the archives - The Mark IX was produced between 1936 and 1944, now a total of 430 watches is currently registered at IWC Case: steel, polished, push back, dust cap, turnable bezel. Dial: black, luminous Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, luminous skeleton hands. Movm.: bridge movement, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, screw compensation balance, blued balance spring.
