Description: 3rd-1st century BC. A bronze miniature hilt for a dagger with D-shaped lower guard, biconvex grip, D-shaped pommel; the lower guard with enamel panels to ech face, the grip with running zigzag to the equator, the pommel with two enamelled roundels flanking a triangle to each face; remains of ferrous blade below. 22 grams, 36mm (1 1/2"). Found East Anglia, UK; before 2000.
