Description: 10th-13th century AD. A shallow bronze bowl with wide rim; inside of bowl has fish pointing heads towards a central dot and with dots between fish, all inlaid with silver, other fish around the edge; narrow shoulder to the outside decorated with floral panel and Kufic inscription. 613 grams, 18cm (7"). Property of a German gentleman; acquired 1980-1990.
