This drawing closely relates to the bronze Mother and Child II by Jacques Lipchitz which was executed in 1941. The bronze is listed in Alan G. Wilkinson's The Sculpture of Jacques Lipchitz: a catalogue raisonne, vol. 2, p. 27, no. 349.
