Description: Jaeger- LeCoultre, Switzerland, Atmos clock, glazed, gilt brass case with presentation plaque, "Commodore O.C.S. Robertson, R.C.N. From Naval Attache's Association Washington, D.C. September, 1961", Arabic numeral and arrow marker white painted dial, gilt hands, cal. 526 movement, serial #133975, with original storage case, and a biography of Commodore Robertson

Condition Report: minor corrosion and loss to lacquer, small turned knob for opening door broken, dial and hands good, runs, but not tested long term, storage case good, with wear. Commodore Owen Connor Straun Robertson began his maritime career as a merchant marine, and joined the Royal Canadian Navy as a reservist in 1932. Among his many accomplishments were navigating the Northwest Passage as Commanding Officer of the HMCS Labrador, appointment to senior Canadian naval officer in Washington, D.C., and his invitation aboard the USS Seadragon to assist in the first submerged transit through the Passage in 1960.
