signed J. Bard and dated N.Y. 1880, l.r. watercolor, gouache, pencil and pen and ink on paper 25 7/8 by 51 in.65.7 by 129.5 cm. The City of Catskill, built in 1880 by Van Loan and Magee in Athens, New York, plied the Hudson River between New York and Catskill from 1882-1883, before she burned at dock in Rondout, New York.
