A young girl looking at her reflection in a mirror held by a page signed and dated 'JdBray. 165[8]' black and red chalk, watermark foolscap, the sheet extended at the foot 61/4 x 51/2 in. (161 x 141 mm.) without the extension PROVENANCE C. Ploos van Amstel (according to J.W. von Moltke). I.F. Tuffen (L. 2408b), with inscription 'Tuffin March 1. 1821 39' (possibly the drawing mentioned by Lugt); Sotheby's London, 1-6 March 1821, possibly lot 39.
