Description: JAN FREDERIK PIETER PORTIELJE
Dutch, 1829-1908

Two portaits of ladies. Unsigned. Inscribed verso. Dated 1887 and 1888.
Oils on panel, 11 1/2" x 8 3/4". Framed.

Condition Report: UV light reveals no obvious restorations. Lady with feathered hat with some light surface scratches and fine craqelueur primarily through the left hand side. The other with fine craqeleuer to the left cheek and neck. 1/2" x scratch into the paint and panel to the left. Both appear to be in untouched condition. Soiled varnish layers.
