note: This lot will be accompanied by a letter from the artist dated Jan 12, 1899 regarding the inception of this painting.

Condition Report: Believed to have been cut from very large mural. Very minor retouch to right of nose (where it has been patched verso) and above knee on right. Some minior cracking. Generally good to very good condition.
