Description: JEWELRY: Assortment of ethnic pieces including necklaces, earrings, and hair accessories, 10+ pieces total: silver snake form belt, modeled head inset with red eyes, mesh body, and tapering tail, 48" l.; bell adorned double rope necklace and single rope anklet; black silk collar with pair silver paisley plaques adorned with turquoise inlay and coral dangles, minor loss; large silver pierced barrette decorated with grapes, 5 5/8" l.; two silver lattice double panels; two damascene shaped plaques, one with scimitar dangle, all stamped "84" with left facing kokoshnik mark; pair silver round peaked filigree plaques, heavily corroded; pair metal coil dangles; pair half-moon tiered earrings for pierced ears, two dangles detached but included; bag of amber colored beads believed to have been collected from St. Petersburg in 1812 by Nicholas Saltus; and hinged silver box lid with polished brown insert, expected wear throughout.
