Book Details: A biography of one of the leading business figures in the 20th. century Texas oil industry, W. A. "Monty" Moncrief.

Condition / Notes: This is a scarce limited edition biography bearing the signatures of both its subject, Texas oilman William Alvin Moncrief, and its author. Mr. Moncrief's authograph appears on limitated page (no number provided) and at the end of inscription on front flyleaf that reads "To Claude & Nadine Wild / War regards & best wishes! / Monty." That of Mr. Scott can be seen on tipped-in typed letter and note at front of volume.


Volume is bound in maroon cloth, with bright gilt lettering to spine and front cover. Book is in excellent condition. Contains a large section of photo illustrations.

Intact dust jacket shows light shelfwear, with two small closed tears along bottom edge of verso that have been repaired.
