Pencil inscription to back of canvas "Painted by John F. Carlson as a Class Demonstration Woodstock, N.Y. January 12th, Saturday 1924". Unsigned on front. Grand Central Art Galleries Inc. label on back of canvas. Housed in a period gesso decorated frame, which has been re-gilded.
