Condition Note: Canvas not lined. An area of paint lifting on the left figure's cheek is fairly unstable and in need of immediate attention; some other large craquelure on the standing figure but in stable condition. Under UV light:large areas of inpainting in the sky; several areas of inpainting to paint loss and craquelure: some scattered on the hill at upper left, three areas behind the left figure's back, at right of right figure's head, and several areas along the bottom edge.
