The base exhibits staining consistent with moisture droplets. With some accumulated surface residue in the crevices. The surface of the piece is purposely textured (rather than smooth) and in some of these textured/varied areas the patina appears slightly lighter/whiter. This may be wear or it may be original to the working method of the artist. In his torso and chest, the patina varies from black to dark brown to lighter brown. With some areas of speckled verdigris evident in the geometric/twirling elements that the figure is holding. Generally in good, original condition.
