With time and light staining and the yellows slightly attenuated. Occasional soft handling creases and traces of faint surface soiling. With three pinprick fox marks in the central yellow square, one above center, one approx. 1 inch from square bottom right of center and one at upper right. With a few small foxmarks in the margins as well, for example one at bottom of left vertical margin and one in the upper right corner. With some surface soiling evident in a few places in the yellow inked area, for example at the center of the top band and at the top center of the second band. With creasing at upper left corner and some skinning of the paper here as well. With intermittent apparent moisture staining along approx 8 3/4 in. of the bottom sheet edge. Some faint skinning in this area as well. With artist tack holes at all four corners, presumably part of working method. Verso exhibits some surface soiling and staining along the upper horizontal edge consistent with contact with the mat. Upper left and right corner verso wth tape remnants.
