Description: each a pastel on paper, the largest work is signed at lower left, the other two are unsigned, all three in similar period gilt frames under glass.
DOA 11.75 x 16 in.; 10.25 x 13 in.; and 10 x 12.5 in.
Born in Cincinnati and a Harvard graduate, Gest served as Director of the Cincinnati Art Museum from 1902-1932. In 1901, he became affiliated with Rookwood Pottery and became President of the company following the death of William Watts Taylor in 1913.
Two retain Closson Galleries of Cincinnati labels on the verso.

Condition Report: No apparent condition concerns - not examined out of the frames.
