Description: Chavot Yair. Responsa of Rabbi Chaim Yair Bacharach, Rabbi of Worms (1638-1702). In his introduction, the author explains why he titled the book Chavot Yair: in tribute to his grandmother Chava, the mother of his father Rabbi Shimshon...who was unique in her generation in Torah, she had a Medrash Raba without commentary that she studied...and made a commentary...and some of her words I wrote in the volumes with her name.
