The bike is in perfect condition and is the highlight of any collection or can be used for racing.
In 1966 Kawasaki introduced the highly modern racy 250 A1 Samurai with an air-cooled two-cylinder two-stroke engine and an output of 31 hp from 247 ccm. A horizontally parted crankcase and a 22 carburetor for every cylinder allowed this performance. A rotary drive provides the control. A 12 Volt AC generator and an ignition system with contact breaker are fitted behind the cylinder block, it also has gear wheel drive. Back then this type of construction was only used for race bikes. The fresh oil lubrication is a racing component, too. Thanks to its performance, light weight and good handling the Samurai soon became a best-seller and is still very popular to date.
