Bidding Online or In Written Form
You may submit bids in written form. To do so, you must use either the enclosed form or you may print off a Bidding
Form from the website www.lehnerkunstauktionen.at. Then, fill in both the catalog number and the highest bid.
At the auction we will bid up until your chosen amount. You will receive the desired item at the lowest possible price.
Bidding by Telephone
You are welcome to also bid live by telephone during the auction. To do this, you must write down on the Bidding
Form the telephone number of where you can be reached during the auction. You will be called immediately before
the calling of your selected catalog number, so that you may participate in the auction directly. This service is available
for each item. However, bidding by telephone automatically assumes that you will bid at least the starting price. If we
are unable to reach you, we will assume that your purchase order is the starting price.
Please send your purchase order in a timely manner by fax (+43 1 5854623 13 or
+43 4 5854623 30) or by email (email@example.com)!
Your invoice will be created on the basis of the information that you provide.
If you have a VAT number, we kindly ask that you also provide this before the auction.
The purchase price consists of the highest bid and the buyer's premium of 22% ("Differenzbesteuerung," or differential
taxation of the sale price exceeding the original purchase price). If standard taxation (indicated in the catalog) is
applied, the buyer's premium amounts to 18% of the highest bid, which includes a 10% value-added tax for pictures.
The resale royalty (droit de suite) will also be added, if applicable (living artists and artists that have not yet been dead
for more than 70 years; for a highest bid over €2.500,- net and without frame).
