(Plate 38), from The Birds of America Sylvia Formosa engraving with aquatint and hand-coloring, 1828, on J Whatman, with margins, pale mat and time staining, minor surface soiling and creasing in the margins, a few small tears and losses along the margin edges, a 4-in. diagonal tear at the center of the right margin edge, the palest scattered foxing on the reverse of the upper and lower margins, otherwise in good condition, framed P. 19 5/8 x 12 3/8 in. (498 x 314 mm.) S. 39 3/4 x 26 5/8 in. (1009 x 676 mm.)
