Carpet in generally poor condition with extensive wear to pile revealing foundation in areas and remaining wool reduced to a velvet-like texture; there is a roughly 1.5" x .75" hole near top left corner; bottom of carpet particularly vulnerable: there is a square piece of bottom left corner missing, a palm-sized patch and other minor losses and/or repairs along bottom; back of carpet at bottom has adhesive residue and is particularly brittle
