Description: Kropotkin (Prince Peter Alexeievitch) Three autograph letters signed, 3 pp. 8vo, Hove, December 19 1901, to Mr. Collis regarding a contract for a publication with his comments on a cheap edition and right of translation; 4 pp. 8vo, Bromley, December 12 1906, to Mr. Cavenvor discussing publication of his Memoirs, the price of remaining copies of "The Conquest of Bread" and an American edition of the same title "Otherwise, as it is a propaganda book, I really prefer it to be let to everyone the right of publishing it at any price."; the third an early letter, 2 pp.8vo, Harrow, [c.1886?] to Mrs. Besant inviting her to join him and his wife with others at their house after a tea party elsewhere. ***Peter Kropotkin was a revolutionary philosopher and one of the first Russian anarchists. The publication discussed in the first letter was presumably Mutual Aid, a Factor of Evolution, published in 1902..
