Description: Propeller:- a part-truncated laminated African hardwood, beech and walnut propeller, the single blade and truncated section stamped HEINE PROPELLER 150PS BENZ D275 ST178 HEINE N14548 Waidmannslust Berlin, also with unidentified marking, fitted with Kienzle black faced quartz timepiece with Arabic numerals and hands in white, mounted within a brass bezel, 9,9 kg, 180 cm long, overall. A short piece of laminate must be glued. The furniture maker Hugo Heine began in 1910 in Waidmannslust with the production of wood propellers for aircraft after he accidentally received an order to repair a broken propeller. In his carpentry until 1914 he had five employees. Due to the demand in the First World War, Heine built his carpentry in a factory, which employed up to 1918 three hundred workers.
