Hand colored gelatin silver print, printed 1949. 5 1/2 x 5 3/8 in. (14 x 13.7 cm). Annotated '43' in pencil on the mount; with printed text by Eluard: 'Gonflant ses joues, gourmande, avalant une fleur, odorante peau intérieure. Bouche forcément rose, même au fronton de la forêt toute noire' on the reverse on the mount. One from an edition of 136 plus 6 hors commerce.
