Description: Liu Kuo-Sung, Chinese, born 1932. Ink and color on paper, entitled "Sun and Moon Floating" dated 1970. Liu Kuo-Sung is considered the father of Chinese Modernist painting, co-founding the Fifth Moon Group on 1957. This painting is one of a group of paintings which were inspired by the late 1960's Apollo space missions. Signed and dated lower left. Some slight discoloration and fading. Image 34 1/2 x 23 1/4", with 1/2" margins, matted 40 x 29" overall. ESTIMATE $8,000-12,000
