Description: LOT - 30" UNMARKED SLIT-HEAD PAPIER MACHE SHOULDERHEAD DOLL WITH GLASS EYES AND AN ANTIQUE WOODEN CHAIR THAT SHE SITS ON. Top of head has been painted black and the long dark brown curled human hair has been inserted in the slit. Cotton twill body with white leather arms. Individual fingers. Dressed in ivory silk dress with fitted bodice (stomacher) of the period, cotton underwear, lace stockings, white leather slip on shoes tied on by silk ribbon. Condition: overall age deterioration. Loss of paint under wig. Paint is worn on face and shoulderplate (Possible touch-up?) Loss to leather arms and shoes. Major deterioration to silk dress.
