Condition / Notes: This is the 1742 "new edition" of this work. The small octavo volume is bound in full leather with stamped gilt lettering and floral ornamentation on the spine. The spine also shows raised bands. There is wear along the gutters. There is moderate rubbing and toning to the exterior, with some chipping to the lower fore-edge corner. The text block is solid. The volume has marbled endpapers. The title page vignette shows religious iconography. The pages show mild age toning and occasional light spotting/foxing, mostly in the margins. The work is decorated with engraved head and tailpieces as well as decorative initials.
