Description: 5 February 1889 Shares of £10. black. No 20. Folds and a little staining at the upper right corner. The company capital consisted of £20,000 with 2000 shares of £10. The certificate we offer here is for 100 shares. The company owned and operated one ship: the Walter Dammeyer (882 tons, built in Hull). The company operated from Kings Lynn, Norfolk and was founded by Hermann Dammeyer, a man of German origin. The ship was confiscated in 1914 and renamed Polzeath.
