A snake with an apple in the mouth is beneath the crescent moon
On the left arm she is carrying the Jesus child on a white cloth with the imperial orb in his left hand and depicted as the pantocrator
Maria is wearing a red dress with a blue cape, the socket is decorated with palmettes

The depiction of the crowned Madonna on the crescent moon carrying the Jesus child as the pantocrator is a favored figure group on altars. The type, in which Maria threads the snake with her feet was added since the 16th century.
The sculpture and the socket are in good condition with age-related traces of wear. Abrasions and chippings on the gold décor and the painting are shown. The right arm of the Maria with an old restoration. The upper area of Marias head is wormy (inactive). The rear of the figure shows a hollow. One bar of the crown is missing. One crack on the socket can be found and one side of the facing is missing. (ala)
